building within the orbits of ai, media, and capital

Welcome to my digital living room. This is where I keep track of what I'm building, reading, listening to, and thinking about. Pull up a chair — look around. Everything here, like me, is a work in progress.

A brief on me and what I care about
Arinze Obiezue

Creator. Schwarzman Scholar. Skoll Fellow. Stanford MBA.

I'm Arinze: a builder, writer, designer, and ATLA nerd working within the orbit of AI, media, and capital. I write a Substack on adulting in the age of AI and late-stage capitalism as I'm deeply curious about how tech is reshaping how we learn, connect, and create.
In the past:
  • Worked across five industries before graduating undergrad because I couldn't seem to pick a lane; some things don't change
  • While an intern at Meta, I published a 3000-word internal memo on strategies for hiring more underrepresented minorities that got executive buy-in from as high up as Zuck's lieutenants
  • Attended 3 Model UN conferences on two continents over the span of 2 years before I turned 18 cos I thought I wanted to be a diplomat
  • I ended up the first student from an African university to get admitted to the 2+2 deferred MBA programs at both Stanford & Harvard business schools even though I almost never applied
Whatever my life's work becomes, it is dedicated to my mum, my sister, my friends, and my teachers who nurtured my character and made my wildest dreams feel possible.
